Opening on October 1, 2008 Bronte Road Bistro has consistently provided delicious food and personal service to its discerning diners. Our food is based on traditional techniques with an emphasis on depth of flavour and goodness. Our chef and owner partner Matthew Barnett shies away from fancy plating and focuses on quality ingredients prepared at their freshest with classic combinations of flavour.


Mainly French in influence, Matthew also borrows from other countries bordering the Mediterranean including the Middle East and Spain.

Owner partner Stewart Parsons leads a friendly personal team on the floor and is always around to offer wine advice or help in selecting an Armagnac, Cognac or Calvados to sip on as you finish your meal.


Bronte Road Bistro is fully licensed with a lovely hand-selected reserve wine list to match our menu.
